So, weird story to tell. I went to my day job on Thursday morning, wrote my blog for Wednesday nights episode. It took me over two hours to write it, because I would just go back to it every now and again, as I did my actual work. And, just about as I finished, my supervisor asked me to come meet with him. I walked into the room and our Senior HR rep was sitting in there, as well. I knew it wasn’t good. She led off with the climax, which we were always told is something you build up to inside a story, but apparently high school diplomas aren’t a prerequisite to be an executive at my company. Anyway, the climax was that I was fired. Effective immediately. So, this matters to you, mostly because I had my blog typed on my work computer, saved to my Word program on my work computer, and I was not allowed to go back to my desk. Ah, crazy weekend here. I’ve been going around non-stop, working off of barely any sleep, but ended up having one of the greatest nights of my life this wondrous Sunday night, August 12th, 2012. And, most definitely not just because of Big Brother. I will go ahead and clear up something in regards to the comments in this blog. For some reason or another, the site doesn’t appreciate what I have had to say the past two blogs. I tried posting comments, but each time I did, my request was denied because the site told me I was commenting too fast. I understand that I do just about everything in my life at a quicker pace than most others, but I’m not so sure I understand what the site is trying to tell me here. I made one comment and they’re acting as if I was in a chat room, just typing one letter at a time and hitting enter repeatedly. Let me start off with an apology. I was on facebook, bored, and just looking around when I checked the “Other” tab in my “Messages.” As it turns out, I think I had about 15 “others” in that tab, which were messages from readers. From what I gathered, people have told me that it’s something they sent along with their friend request when they first requested me as a friend. Now, I am apologizing because I never saw them. They never showed up in my Messages tab and who the hell ever clicks on the “Other” tab? Seriously, facebook, just send it as a regular damn message, what is an “other” anyway?!?
