BIG BROTHER – 8/15/11

Quick revelation: Adam admits to making bad moves. No sh*t, dummy! I don’t think your capable of making a good move, actually. You just weren’t made out for the game of Big Brother. At least you made it to Jury, though. I guess it’s something to be proud of when you make it to jury basically because you weren’t a threat in the house enough to be voted out and people strung you along because they knew you were a loser and couldn’t win anything. I feel like that should be the full name for the “jury house.”

Daniele’s speech about how she would be the only one to blame if she was voted out next week is the exact reason why it would still be smart for her to just nominate Brendon and Rachel and get one of them out. I still think the number one smart move to make when you are HOH is to get out people who can beat you in the game. That trumps “safety deals.” If she puts up Adam and Shelly, she isn’t getting a threat out of the house. Sure, it’s still getting out someone from the other alliance, but it’s not helping your chances to win Big Brother by keeping someone in the house who can beat you in competitions. At the same time, and this is why the game is so tough, going on people’s word is all you have and if Brendon and Rachel are promising to keep you safe if they win HOH, that is a nice deal to have. All Daniele has to trust is that Kalia can win a second HOH “in a row” (since she didn’t compete in the last one) or Porsche winning anything at all and the likelihood of either is about the same as my wife agreeing to me looking at a picture of Cassi in the nude and then asking to make a poster out of it and place it above our headboard.

Before the nomination ceremony starts, Shelly tells Jeff and Jordan that Rachel is the weasel passing information to Daniele. But, if Jeff and Jordan needed Shelly to tell them this, then she may as well not even told them. Like I said before, she got the vote 6-0, so it was obvious she had been talking to them (Team Man Jaw and Droopy Boobs) and most likely sharing information.

Adam and Shelly get nominated. But, the speech Daniele gave made it seem as if she wants to backdoor Brendon. She talked about being in the same position as two weeks ago and how this time she wanted to do what she wanted to do and make sure it stuck this time. That sounds like a backdoor plan to me since what she “wanted to do” was get Brendon out. Was this just a ploy to make everyone believe she wasn’t working with them? I have to believe that she meant what she said afterwards that she would be ok with Adam or Shelly coming off the block, because she still kept her deal with Brenchel, but then would backdoor Brendon. Whatever, I still don’t even care who goes home. I don’t really think anybody deserves to win the game just yet. As of right now, Daniele is turning her game around and trying to make it seem like she deserves to win, but her stupid game play at the beginning is still too glaring for me to give her a full reprieve.

Again, though, I’ll say this for those inside the game who aren’t paying attention, this should 1,000% tell you that Brendon and Rachel are WORKING WITH DANIELE!!! I think Jeff and Jordan may even be smart to move on them if they ever do win another HOH. If I were Jeff or Jordan, I think I’d nominate Rachel and Daniele with my HOH, and then if either come off, just put up Brendon/Kalia, if they are still in the house. But, we all know neither of them are going to win any HOH, so why did I even bother wasting my words?

The show ends with Shelly crying about Rachel lying about her in the game. Shelly, you have got to be kidding me!!! You really thought, after watching last season, that Rachel was a stand up person? Didn’t you just get done having a conversation with her last week, telling her about how classy she is even though she was crying about some nonsense? Shelly, I realize that you are trying to play this game as a “good” person, but you have to realize that you are playing Big Brother. This isn’t Bible Camp. Hell, even if it was, there’d still be lies and deceit going around. You are an executive at a company and you act like people lying is some great revelation in the world.

I will tell you now that this paragraph contains a SPOILER, so if you don’t want to know what happens with the Veto Competition, PLEASE DO NOT READ!!!!!!!!! I don’t want to get 10 more emails about how people are upset with me that I spoiled the next episode for them. So, I’m writing as much nonsense as I can before I reveal the spoiler, just so people don’t see the spoiler on accident. If you still do read this spoiler and you didn’t want to and you write to me that I’m an a-hole because I spoiled the Veto, I will cuss at you in my response email and ask that you do not read my blog anymore. No, just kidding, but really though, you’re at complete fault for it and should feel like you’re on par with the intelligence of Adam. With that said, dummy boy (Adam) wins the Veto. Last I read, the Veto ceremony didn’t happen yet, so I don’t know who went up in his place, but I’m guessing Brendon. That was the way it seemed to be going, but anything can happen in the Big Brother game and he could have struck another deal with Daniele for all we know. But, I have to believe she wasn’t going to be stupid and let this opportunity pass her by. He needs to go, anyways, because he shouldn’t even have been the one back in the house. Sorry, houseguests, but Rachel is going to be back to trainwreck mode come Thursday…
