After they all leave the room, Rachel stays up there to kiss Jeff’s ass and Shelly can’t stand it. She’s down in the kitchen ripping into Rachel and the eyes she gives her when she looks at her and Shelly tells everyone that she’s going to go give it to her. She stomps up the stairs to have a chat with Rachel about how she needs to stop rolling her eyes at her and talking sh*t behind her back to everyone. The conversation is one-sided with Rachel biting her tongue, which makes Jeff proud. Jeff even tells Rachel he’s proud of her after Shelly leaves, which boosts Rachel’s ego, I’m sure. But, props to Rachel for this one, because I don’t think she’s ever not responded in a situation like that. But, I can guarantee that she left the HOH room a few minutes later and went and cried in the bushes out back so nobody could see her…
Next up, we get the Shelly food montage, where we learn she hasn’t ever heard of eating before. All she eats is peanut butter & jelly sandwiches and English muffins. Seriously, this woman runs a company? These people have to be acting, because I can’t believe that she’s this powerful executive outside of the house. With how these people seem to break down inside the house, I think I’m almost afraid to go on Big Brother now. I’m the athletic, smart, sarcastic type and I’d probably go on the show and come off to America as the homosexual, straight-edge, choir boy. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it just seems that everyone is completely different while in the house than they are when they are introducing themselves in the premiere episode. And, who knows, maybe I’d go into the house knowing how to pronounce the word “guacamole,” but relearning that I (along with everyone I know) was wrong all along.
Did anyone else catch just how tan Shelly was during that whole “small table” scene? Someone needs to tell her to put on a shirt because I’m half-convinced the entire house is catching skin cancer just from the wind she produces when she walks past the other houseguests. The whole tanning craze is something I never understood. It’s one thing to sunbathe every now and again to keep a fresh tan, but the girls who take it past the limit and look overly brown like a smoked ham can’t honestly think they look good. It’s not attractive when you take your clothes off in the heat of passion and your vagina seems to be glowing in the dark because it’s lighter than the rest of your body…not speaking from experience, of course, but I’d imagine that’s what happens in the dark with these girls who are completely darkened from tanning too much. You hear about all these tanning salons getting busted for having video cameras hidden in their tanning booths, but I wouldn’t even want to watch 90% of those. But, I guess they do it for those 10% they would want to watch, so maybe it’s not such a bad idea after all. As of right now, I’m looking for investor’s to start up a tanning salon. Anyone in?
Jeff and Daniele discuss her being safe and whether or not she would use the Veto if she won it. She tells Jeff that she would do whatever he wants her to do and he tells her not to use it to save Kalia or Porsche, so she tells him she will just throw it then, because she doesn’t want to be in that predicament. Jeff mentions this to Jordan, who then tells him not to believe her. I’m with Jordan, there is just no way Daniele is dumb enough to throw the Veto. She saw what happened to Dominic when he pulled that stunt and she’s pulling out every precaution now that she knows she’s the main target, so she isn’t going to be fooled by Jeff’s promise. I don’t know this, but from how the producers are scripting this season, don’t we all have to believe that Daniele is going to win the Veto? Come on, Big Brother knows that once Daniele leaves, it’s obvious Jeff is going to win, so they need some kind of obstacle in his path. No way they are letting Daniele walk out of that door now.
I knew that EMT lady was named Maggie, I remember the stupidest things 🙂
Also, I usually agree with everything you say…except I think Jeff was smart not putting up Daniele and BD her if he gets the chance instead because if she ends up winning the veto, he looks like he “went back” on their “deal,” and this gives her more reason to put him up if she won HOH the next week…even though she probably would anyway. This way, he can say “remember, I didn’t put you up.” I for once actually agree with the decisions going on in the house!
I also wondered why he put Jordan’s key so far down the line….she’s so sweet she probably didn’t care, but I thought that was dumb!
So it seemed like Jeff showed a little more affection toward Jordan this week. I caught him calling her “Love” a couple of times, and then they also aired him talking about how cute she looked in her humilitard. Maybe these two really are together.
I think the whole key thing with Jordan was just Jeff having a little fun with everybody. I too noticed they showed Jeff and Jordan acting much more lovey-dovey this week, which makes me think CBS noticed how many people didn’t believe their act, so they told them to ramp it up a bit.
If you watch Big Brother After Dark on Showtime 2, you’ll see Jeff and Jordan show a lot more affection towards one another. I think Jordan is somewhat uncomfortable sometimes being overly affectionate in front of the cameras and actually has told Jeff to tone it down in front of other people. She said she doesn’t want to look like Rachel and Brendan. (She said when they are all over each other, it seems disrespectful to the other people in the house)
Also, I know you love you some Porsche…..she shimmied (not sure how to spell it…but she danced and shook her boobs) to the camera on Saturday night. 🙂
I love your blog! These houseguest can be boring but I still find myself obsessed with watching them sometimes.
**SPOILER** DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE VETO COMPETITION AND NOMINEES.
I found this on IMDB and thought you might find it interesting, since it backs up most of your series about how the show is run. “Monday morning (Bbt), the feeds went down and when they came back, Jeff had taken Porsche off the block and put Daniele up, despite him making a few comments over the weekend (before production could cut away) that he was being pressured in the Diary Room to keep Daniele.”
Series= theories, no idea what happened there.
Jacklyn, either way he went, it was fine. I think he would have shown some power tactics by putting her up right away instead of just toying with the backdoor model.
As for the more affection shown, I still don’t buy it. Has anyone actually seen them kiss at all? No way a couple together for as long as they have been together don’t even kiss while stuck in the same house together for almost 2 months now. He doesn’t even touch her and they sit too far apart when they are near each other. Even when my wife is on my last nerve, I can’t help myself but to be close to her when she’s nearby on a couch…
And, ‘saizd’ I actually don’t like Porsche at all. I don’t think she’s pretty in the slightest. She does have a killer body, though, so I might have paid attention to that “shimmy” from the neck down!! 🙂
When Jordan gave up her 24 hour solitary with a family call to Shelley, she said that she could get by not talking to her family because she had Jeff there. I thought that statement was pretty telling that they were in a relationship of some sorts. Just because they don’t show pda’s doesn’t mean they aren’t in a relationship. In fact, I admire them for not being all over each other like Brenchel.
Your Youtube show sounds terrific. I would wath it! I must say I didn’t start watchig this season until they brought Brenden back. I am completely Team Jeff and Jordon although they are two very dumb people. Jeff said it best on The Amazing Race “We really shouldn’t reproduce”. But a Youtube show of the homeless people would be quite fun to watch as those people will actually have personalitlies and not in it for the fame.
