Big Brother Recap – 8/7/15

August 7th, 2015 | 1 Comment | Posted in Uncategorized

Oh, how cute…to make up for the fact that she’s campaigning to have his @ss voted out, Shelli decides to break the promise that she would never kiss on camera by, you guessed it, kissing Clay on camera! We all knew it was going to happen at some point, and all it took was Clay sacrificing himself for her to stay in the game. That must have been one hell of a kiss, I tell you…

Up in the HoH room, James opens up to everyone in the house and tells them that he wants Shelli out and hopes that everyone will just go along with the plan. Again, this is the new Big Brother where everyone wants to vote together and thinks they’re all on the same team. James, Jackie, Meg, Bobcat, Steve, and Becky don’t even know you can have alliances so they’re still sticking with the fact that everyone in the house is in one big alliance and want everyone to just chat about how Shelli should be voted out over Clay and that nobody would disagree with it. And, so when Vanessa STUPIDLY argues that Shelli should stay over Clay because they can just get him out next week, Jackie somewhat catches on and says it’ll be fishy if she doesn’t vote with everyone else and agree to getting Shelli out. Vanessa has done all this stuff to go against what that side of the house wants done, yet they can’t figure out she’s working with Shelli and Clay, and Austin (who also went along with getting Clay out), and the twins? Ugh…keep hoping for her to win, Da’Vonne. She won’t. “Something’s up.”

Something’s definitely up, Jackie. It’s most definitely not your chances of winning, though.

Speaking of something’s up, anybody else having trouble picking out which twin is which? The two were talking and one wanted Clay out, the other Shelli, and I just have no idea which one was which. I can’t even assume from past game play because the season has been so confusing with who wants what done and who’s sub-aligned with who within the alliance and such. Plus, I don’t really care to know which is which.

At the Vote, it’s a clean sweep and Clay is voted out. So all that talk about something being up, Jackie, and you still vote with them? So, the whole-house-alliance remains in tact this week and Clay will be the target this week, unless one of the sixth sense win and nominate James and Jackie, and the two of them STILL won’t figure out they’re on the outs. They’ll tell James and Jackie that they’ll have the other two throw the battle of the block and these idiots will still just spend the whole week wondering what happened and how they ended up on the block. Then Vanessa will throw a fit when they confront her, so that obviously means she’s innocent and then James will just give up his chance at winning when Jackie allows him to motorboat her in the shower, which we all know is James’ definition of true love.

And Clay, you gave up. Shut up. You don’t get to explain your way out of this. My wife could have been in that house with me and I’m still not giving up MY chance at winning the game. Maybe if it’s completely obvious I’m going home anyway, I’ll do the chivalrous thing and “give up” my game for her, but any other circumstances, I’m trying my best to win that money. You gave up, Clay. End of story.

Oh and one more thing, Shelli is NOT letting you visit Meg. Not on your own or even with her. Nice try.

I hate these stupid HoH comps that we don’t get to see who wins. Didn’t we just have one of these? Let’s hold this to once every season, how about that? And this is the one that takes forever, so I probably won’t even know who won before I go to bed. But before we end the show, Julie tells the houseguests that they’ve all made jury, so of course they’re all excited! But along with that, if they get voted out into the Jury house, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re out of the game. Maybe that’ll be the return of the #BBTakeover! Or not. Maybe we just leave that one on the shelf.

Ok, well that’ll do it for me tonight. I’ll see you all here on Monday after we find out who wins HoH and who they nominate. Until then…

  1. Steve – barely on the show at this point. I don’t remember seeing or hearing from him until the vote. I agree that Becky threw the challenge. I think Clay regretting his decision to ask to be voted out will happen within days. I was surprised that it was their first kiss as I had assumed that they were taking care of business off camera in the bathroom all summer. I was really hoping that Shelli’s farewell message would have been “Sorry Clay. You were just a showmance. I’m here to win, not find a boyfriend.” Prediction – Based on Bobcat’s vote saying it was a crazy day, Sunday’s episode will show different times during the day where Clay went around and convinced everyone to vote him out.
