Let’s start this blog off with a little good news, huh?!? Congratulations to you all, you won’t have to hear me complain for two whole paragraphs about how slow this season is moving today. I’m good. I’m just going to throw this out there since I just thought of it earlier today, but I’m thinking this season of Big Brother is the True Detective season 2 of Big Brother seasons. I know I’ve been saying recently that this season has been starting to grow on me, but I still feel like this season is just dragging on and on and on. I think it has something to do with how every episode seems to be only about a certain select few people and it seems as if 8-10 people in the house aren’t even on this season. For all those who don’t watch True Detective, I apologize, but you can still understand what I’m saying. Season 1 of True Detective was incredible (except the ending). Season 2 had such great hype about it, but it’s been less than lackluster so far (and it’s about to end…well, actually it did end tonight but I won’t get to watch it until tomorrow because I’m writing this blog instead…). You’re going to have to excuse me for this blog because I’m feeling a little pissy today. Like, 14 year old girl who wants to have sex for the first time but her period won’t end type pissy.

Anyway, the episode starts off with what is becoming the norm this season, and that’s someone exaggerating their worth in the game with the overstatement of the century, which James gives us with his “Since day 1, I’ve been known as a heavy hitter.” Is that right, James? You win the first HoH by some weird tiebreaker, your foot touched the ground last because you’re a midget, get out some straggler that nobody knows or cares about, win just about nothing else, perform like crap in just about every other competition, can’t even throw a comp correctly, and you’re a “heavy hitter?” Is that what constitutes a heavy hitter in Big Brother?
